What 'Verified' means
What we check
Before a Verified badge appears on a profile, we review:
Their identity
We've seen a valid government-issued ID and confirmed that the person behind the profile is who they say they are.
Their training
We've reviewed the certificates or credentials relevant to the work they list on Alt.Tenerife.
Their public presence
Where relevant, we also review the professional or social presence connected to their work for an additional layer of identity verification.
Something doesn't feel right?
A Verified badge should reflect the information we reviewed when it was issued. If you have a concern about a Verified practitioner or believe something on their profile is inaccurate, tell us. We'll look into it and may remove the badge if it no longer meets our verification requirements.
